            On Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at approximately 7:14 a.m., Lynn Police and Lynn Fire responded to 263 Essex Street on a report of a medical aid involving two children. Upon the arrival of emergency personnel, they discovered a two year old and three year old male year-old suffering from burns. The burns are believed to have been caused by an exposure to hot water.

The children were transported by Med-Flight to Mass General Hospital and then transferred to Shriners Hospital where they are in stable condition. The investigation into the incident is ongoing and being continued by Detectives from the Lynn Police Department Criminal Investigation Division.
