Saturday - April 14, 2007 The Lynn Y.M.C.A., under the direction of Sharon Dobbyns, held a "Healthy Kids Day" at their facility on Wheeler Street. As part of this event the Lynn Police Department was asked to fingerprint the children. Detective Rick Frampton (Lynn Police Identification Unit), Officer David Hines (Lynn Police Crime Prevention Officer) and Allison LeJeune (McIntosh College / Criminal Justice Intern) attended this event and fingerprinted the children. Each child who had been fingerprinted was given their fingerprint card to bring home to their parents and a Lynn Police "Junior Police Officer" badge. Literature related to Bicycle Safety and Skate Board Safety was made available to the children and parents in attendance.
