Citizen Academy
On May 29, 2007 Paul Zambella, a forensic scientist for the Massachusetts State Police, came to the Lynn Police Department Citizen Academy to demonstrate some of the methods which are used to collect biological and trace evidence found at a crime scene. Paul Zambella has a BS in biology and a Master's Degree in forensic chemistry. He has investigated hundreds of crime scenes, including several high-profile cases, and provided court testimony for many of these cases. He has worked as a forensic scientist for the Massachusetts State Police Crime Laboratory for 32 years and has been an instructor of forensic science at Northeastern University for 27 years. *
