Subject:            Armed Robbery

 

On October 23, 2007, at approximately 4:32 p.m., Lynn Police responded to the area of 133 Chatham Street, on a report of an armed robbery. The victim, a 41-year-old Lynn man, was approached by three Hispanic males, while walking on Chatham Street. He was beaten about the face, as one of the suspects displayed a large knife. After robbing him of his money, the suspects fled the area. The incident was captured on video.

The first suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 6’00” tall, clean shaven, black hair, 15 to 20 years old. Thin to medium build. He was wearing a black running suit, with white stripes down the arms and legs, and a multi-colored shoulder area.

The second suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 5’06” tall, clean shaven, thin build, black hair, afro style. He was wearing a red shirt with black letting on the sleeves. He was also wearing a shirt underneath, blue jeans and white sneakers.

The third suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 5’6” tall, clean shaven, 15 to 20 years old, medium build. He was wearing a black knit hat, and a green sweatshirt with a white logo on the front, blue jeans, and sneakers.

At the time, a search of the area did not locate any suspects. The incident remains under investigation with Detective Stephen Pohle, and Detective Thomas Mulvey, of the Lynn Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division.
