Subject:            Bank Robbery

 

Today, March 5, 2008, at approximately 8:30 A.M., Lynn Police responded to St. Jeans Credit Union, located on 527 Western Avenue, on a report of a robbery. The suspect was described as an unshaven white male in his twenties, thin build, approximately 5’07” to 5’08” tall, blond hair, wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt and a white knit hat. He allegedly approached a teller’s window, and passed a note demanding money. No weapons were observed, and the thief fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of currency.  

Officers were quickly on scene and conducted a search of the area, no arrests were made. The incident is currently under investigation, with Detective Gary Hagerty and Lt. Detective Stevens of the Lynn Police Department, and the Bank Robbery Task Force.  Anyone who has information is urged to contact detectives at 781 599-9057.
